It sounds cool!

In reality, there was a time when counting wasn’t as easy as we have it now.
There was a word for one coconut. Another word for one apple, but not the number ‘one’.

Someone said, wait, what if we used a word to represent a single item, regardless of what it is?

And the human brain made a massive cognative leap in looking at our amazing world.

I think that’s pretty nifty.
